    Resources for explaining mass shootings:
ALSC came up with a “Comforting Reads for Difficult Times” booklist. http://www.ala.org/alsc/publications-resources/book-lists/comfortingreads
PLA also posted a link to Post-Mass Shooting Programs and Resources Overview by Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response - Technical Resources, Assistance Center, and Information Exchange. https://asprtracie.s3.amazonaws.com/documents/aspr-tracie-ta-resources-for-orlando-shooting-incident.pdf
Healing Days: A Guide for Kids who have Experienced Trauma by Susan Farber Straus
The National Association of School Psychologists have two resources; one for parents/teachers about talking with children and the other is a list of books. The book list includes titles for children dealing with death but there are a couple of titles that look like they deal specifically with kids having to deal with violent (not domestic violence) situations. That list is here: https://www.nasponline.org/x33507.xml
The resource for talking with children is here: https://www.nasponline.org/resources-and-publications/resources/school-safety-and-crisis/talking-to-children-about-violence-tips-for-parents-and-teachers

The Fall by James Preller (see more info down the list)
The Truth About Truman School by Dori Hillstad Butler
There is also a side plot in Goodbye Stranger by Rebecca Stead where a girl shares a photo of herself in just a bra with a boy, and he texts it to a bunch of other students. She experiences some online bullying after that as well. That's not the main plot of the book, though.
    Wickedpedia by Chris Van Etten
Reconstructing Amelia by Kimberly McCreight (adult book)Random by Tom Leveen
    Maybe Laura Ruby's Good Girls?
Sixteen-year-old high school senior Audrey is humiliated when a compromising photograph of her is sent around her school, but she discovers a toughness within her that she never knew she had.
    I Swear by Lane Davis
The Fall by James Preller is about bullying with some online bullying involved, but it isn’t the main gist.
Need by Joelle Charbonneau is, to me, about cyberbullying but in very deceptive ways.
The same goes for Todd Strasser’s Wish You Were Dead
Candlewick Press has two titles coming out this fall that deal with cyberbullying.
The Light Fantastic by Sarah Combs
It Looks Like This by Rafi Mittlefehldt
    Thousand Words, by Jennifer Brown
